Matthew has been performing since 1994; making his organ concert debut in Hadlow Down, East Sussex.  He continues to perform concerts around the U.K., mainland Europe, U.S.A. and Canada,
on both pipe and electronic organs.
His concert programmes - irrespective of the type of instrument - has a diverse range of music from classical to contemporary.  He believes that the "King of Instruments" is capable of playing anything, and that the instrument can reach-out to a wider audience, not just "organ enthusiasts".
He explores all of the tonal colours available on every instrument he performs on,
and he has been frequently described as "a breath of fresh air" by audiences and concert promotors.
He is a popular performer on Roland Atelier, and travels with a "One Man Musical Variety Show" featuring the Atelier, Yamaha Piano, Weltmeister Accordion and his powerful vocals.  Where a venue also has a pipe organ (be it a theatre or classical instrument), this is incorporated too.
Matthew is an established performer on theatre pipe organs, and is known for using his excellent improvisation skills to accompany classic silent films, such as Laurel and Hardy comedy shorts through to full feature-length films such as "Phantom of the Opera" and "Wings".
Venues he has (and still) performed at include:
Orpheum Theatre, Phoenix, AZ (USA);   Temple Theatre, Meridian, MS (USA);
Blackpool Opera House;   Wolverhampton Civic Hall;
Theater aan de Schie, Schiedam, Netherlands;   The Scarborough Fair Collection, Yorkshire
…...…and many churches around the U.K.  and overseas, playing mixed pipe and electronic organ concerts.
Temple Theatre, Meridian, MS
He was resident organist of Ashorne Hall, Warwick from 1999 to 2003, with weekly performances on the Compton and Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organs, and at The Scarborough Fair Collection from 2014 to 2018, performing mini-concerts on the Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ.  He has also held the post of Organist or Director of Music at various Methodist, UR and Anglican Churches in Berkshire and Northamptonshire.
He is now resident organist at Saxon Hall, Raunds, Northants.
